The leafcutter bee is a fascinating creature that can improve your garden pollination during the Summer season.
* very active when temperatures are above 20 degrees Celsius
* nests in small cavities and lives in solitary
* are smaller than mason bees and prefers smaller nesting holes
* often uses pieces of non-fibrous leaves to seal their nests and protect developing young
