Feeders are used to offer sugar syrup to your bees when the nectar flow is minimal or nonexistent. They also provide a convenient way to medicate your bees (some medications can be dissolved in sugar syrup and fed to your bees).
Boardman Feeder
- comes with a special plastic base and a perforated metal feeding cap
- purchase a common size mason jar or provide your own
Benefits:
- easy to monitor as the level of liquid is visible from the outside of the hive
- holds sugar syrup, water or other supplemental feed for newly developed colonies
How to use:
Simply screw on a mason jar (not included) filled with sugar syrup and install into the entrance of the hive. The punctured lid will allow bees to drink liquid without leakage into hive.
Note:
Available with or without mason jar.
