Bees love building honeycomb on natural Wax Foundation!

This real beeswax is rolled and pressed with hexagons to give the bees a quick start in a new hive. Wax foundation with the wire gives the foundation strength.  Secure foundations in with horizontal wire to support it to prevent bending and sag (wire and eyelets are not included).

Wax foundation without wire is used for collecting cut comb. Without wires, simply place in frame and allow bees to draw, fill and cap the comb.

These foundations can also be cut into strips and use as starter strips for foundationless combs.

Deep size: 8 1/2″ standard foundation fits in a standard deep Langstroth frame.

Medium size:  5 5/8″ standard foundation fits in a medium Langstroth frame.
